I grew up in a small town in Southeast Saskatchewan, have some amazing friends and family. In 2009 I traveled to Phoenix, AZ where I lived for 4 months to learn dog grooming. It was a great experience and I met some wonderful people, from there I went back to my home town and opened my own grooming shop where I have been very successful for 3 1/2 years. With help from friends, family and the community I was able to open in February of 2010 it has been a great run.
In December 2012 I started working part time at a daycare in the nearest "city" and I absolutely loved it! I started taking my journey towards getting my level one in early childhood education and need just 1 more class to get it. I was only with the daycare for 3 months before I departed to take an offer to nanny for a family that I'd known for a couple years. I've been with them for almost 7 months now and it's been amazing, they have 5 kids. Zac (6) Sy (4) Molly (3) Liv (1.5) & Rex (7 months).
Between nannying and grooming my life is very busy, and nannying takes me away from my home town 95% of the time (only there to groom). So this is my way to get out there and meet new people! I'm currently living at my parents lake house in Manitoba right on the U.S. border (family I nanny live on the US side).
