Little Bit of Liv's Birthday!

My weekend consisted of going to visit the little munchkins for Liv's 2nd Birthday!! She was such a happy little girl, just adorable.  They had the blow up bouncy set up in their garage and the trampoline, she had tons of presents and cupcakes.  Not to mention the BIGGEST smile on her face the whole day! 

Monday I took a trip with my mother to Minot, ND to do a little bit of winter shopping!  I needed to get some new jeans and a new pair of boots.  I ended up leaving with 2 jeans, 3 boots, 1 pair of toms, a scarf, bench leggings, a vest & a blouse!  Not to bad of a haul if I say so myself.  Also got to enjoy a Caramel Brulee Latte, was very happy about that!! 

Sunday was the Grey Cup!! And the Sask Roughriders won of coarse!! It was a very exciting time around here, as the Roughriders are our only big official team in the province we have everyone supporting them.

Some exciting news!! I get the chance to go to Disneyland with the family I was a nanny for!  I'm very excited to go!

One Crazy Weekend!

Was so happy that I had the chance to watch the Kids this past weekend, since I no longer nanny for them because they moved to the states.  At least I got to see them for 4 days straight, it was a lot with all 5 but I for sure missed them!!

I am exhausted today, and am now job hunting.  It really sucks that it was such short notice I was given that I couldn't work for them any more.  I loved working for the family.  So now I'm not 100% sure what I am going to do.  I'm a dog groomer so I will get back into that, but I need a second job.  I guess I'll have to see what happens!!

Today is most definitely a Hot Chocolate in a cute christmas mug day!  Its so flippin cold out, and i've been cleaning all day and it feels so good to get that done, now i'm going to making some hot chocolate and watch a movie!  Probably The Avengers, I love superhero's haha when I have a baby one day the nursery WILL be Avenger theme haha.  Then prepare myself for organizing papers tomorrow, have to go through all my bills, blah.

New Blog Look!!

I LOVE it!!  It may have taken me till 2 in the morning to get it perfect but I couldn't be happier!  I may have some big news coming up in a couple weeks but I don't want to jinx it!!  Other then that the only thing exciting is a "Beaver Cove" meeting haha.  I'll get to see the girls from the daycare I used to work at who I haven't seen in a few months!!

These past couple days I have been GUTTING my house, going through everything and deciding if I want to be a hoarder and keep some of the stuff I really don't need haha.  I think I've been doing alright! I've also been trying to get what I am keeping organized.  Since my brother had been living with me he has all his stuff in his room but should be coming over today to clean it all out, so we can fix the floor then I can turn it into a guest bedroom!!

I'm planning on painting my house to, I was thinking in the porch a deep purple on the one wall that you can see through the main window, and then leave the other 3 walls white.  Grooming area will stay white since there's no windows in there,  I would like to take the ugly wallpaper behind the washer & Dryer off and either paint it or find some other wallpaper thats not to outdated haha.  Maybe next week I'll tackle that!  I put my new kitchen table, now to just find 4 bar high chairs to go with it. Then I need to find a couch!!  

I'm really enjoying blogging, now I just need to get more followers :)  I plan on joining in on some of the activities on here, so hopefully that will help me get out there! And now after cleaning/organizing time to figure out how to add a cute signature to the bottom! Will have to stick to plain jane purple for now :)

Halloween Fun!

Myself, Zac & Sy carved pumpkins last week!! So much fun, we got all the pumpkins when we went to the pumpkin patch.  So far we have carved 5, and have a few more planned out for tomorrow.

I went as Minnie Mouse this past Saturday to the bar!  I haven't been out in a very long time, and had so much fun!  So happy that the cousins decided to come out as well, had a blast dancing and eating some gross tasting mint things that they carried around at their "pitch" things. They were the Barden Bellas from pitch perfect,  they looked soo good!!!

Back to work today for 2 days, sure enough on my way home from nannying I must have ran over a nail or something and my tire ended up flat as soon as I pulled into the driveway.  Luckily my little brother was able to drive up tonight and will change the tire in the morning and ill be able to take his truck to work.

Twin Cities trip!

Back from a trip to Twin Cities with the family that I nanny.  It was tons of fun, the first day we flew in the family plane, (first time in a private plan). I didnt know how I was going to do with being in a smaller plane (I get motion sick), but I did great, I can't hold the gravel pill down so I got a prescription for the gravel patch that goes behind the ear.  Only downside with the patch is it makes your mouth all dry,  it doesn't help that I got the kids cold either.

We stayed at the radison hotel, the indoor water park was amazing!  If you have kids I recommend planning a trip there and staying in that hotel.  At the pool they have amazing pizza as well.  When we got checked in and everything we changed into swimsuits and had a blast.  After we were done we headed to build-a-bear in the MOA, we had to get Rex his own bear since the other 4 have them,  so we got him this cute puppy named 'pup pup'.   For supper we went to Dick's Last Resort everyone got a hat even baby Rex that said "mommy dances so I can eat".  Zac and Sy ended up getting plastic wrapped to their chairs, and Liv was going crazy dancing.  It was a good first day!

Day 2 we got up and ate breakfast then headed to the arcade in the hotel, then went to the mall for nickelodeon land!! I only went on 2 rides, one was the log chute just myself and Molly went on that and the other was the Dora ferris wheel Liv joined us.

Day 3 we went swimming in the morning then J & K took Sy and Zac to get their first pair of skis and they hit up a bass pro to look at hunting stuff.  Molly, Liv, Rex & myself stayed at the hotel And hung out (it was a nice little break).  Once everyone was back we ate then all 5 kids, J & myself went back to nickelodeon land for the "black out" night.  Zac & Sy had their picture taken with the ninja turtles, their Sys favorite so he was super pumped! It was fun, when we were done there me and J had to of coarse go to lululemon!  I let myself splurge on a super nice pullover it's so comfy and I bought a purple tshirt that was on sale and some socks.  (then when I had Internet connection I ordered some leggings and a headband that will cover my ears when I run since its getting to cold out with that wind.

The way back home was so fast it just sucked because when we arrived there was snow!!! 

Twin Cities was basically a trial run for Disney land in December.

I thought I would give this a shot.  Im hoping i'll keep up with it and post some exciting events in my life, I am a nanny for a family with 5 children 6 years and younger as well as a dog groomer with my own business.  The family I'm with right now is amazing, they keep me busy and i'm loving it!  I own my own house (which i groom out of) even though with the nanny job i end up staying at my parents lake house 95% of the time but i at least have my 2 little mutts with me whom i adore.  One mutt is Asha who is a 3 yr old pomeranian/papillon then the other is Belle who is a 5 yr old maltese/Chihuahua.
